<p><strong>Purpose of the role</strong></p> <p>We are looking for a Retail Associate to join our London team. Our ideal candidate is warm and curious, with a natural instinct for service.</p> <p>You will work in an ambitious environment where we are reimagining what modern luxury can feel like, sharing your knowledge of our products with care and acting as a true ambassador for everything Tekla stands for.</p> <p>The primary location for this position is Marylebone High Street, though occasional support at our Selfridges counter, a short walk from the store, may also be required.</p> <p>You should enjoy taking on responsibility and feel a genuine interest in understanding what each customer needs. A real appreciation for our brand and for premium product, paired with an eagerness to learn and to share what you know, will be at the heart of your success here.</p> <p>This is a full-time position, and because of the rhythm of the store, availability during evenings and weekends is essential.</p> <p><strong>What you will do:</strong></p> <p>Every day in this role looks a little different, but you can expect to:</p> <ul> <li>Build genuine, lasting relationships with our customers through thoughtful clienteling, making each visit feel personal and unhurried.</li> <li>Host our VIP clients in store and at private appointments, offering informed advice with care and discretion.</li> <li>Support the store's daily operations, including sales, visual merchandising, and replenishment.</li> <li>Develop a deep understanding of our products and how to care for them.</li> <li>Share regular reporting and customer feedback with the store manager and senior leadership.</li> <li>Work both independently and with the team to ensure the day runs smoothly and to meet our shared goals.</li> <li>Take on other ad hoc duties as and when needed.</li> </ul> <p><strong>We would love to hear from you if you have:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Previous experience in a customer-facing role, ideally within premium or luxury retail.</li> <li>A background in clienteling, from personalised follow-ups to building a loyal client base.</li> <li>An understanding of premium product: what sets it apart, and how to speak about it with confidence.</li> <li>Experience hosting VIP clients at a high level and reporting feedback to senior management would be advantageous.</li> <li>A proactive, detail-oriented approach, with a genuine interest in helping others.</li> <li>Warmth, curiosity, and the ability to start conversations and build relationships with customers.</li> <li>Strong communication skills and the confidence to adapt to different customers.</li> <li>Availability to work weekends and evenings when required.</li> <li>A genuine appreciation for our brand and products.</li> </ul> <p>We review applications and hold interviews on an ongoing basis, with the aim of welcoming the successful candidate to the role as soon as possible.</p>
