The EVC team helps clients achieve sustainable P&L improvement, addressing short-term financial priorities while building long-term value for shareholders. Our Pricing, Revenue Growth and Commercial Excellence practice helps organisations grow revenue profitably – through pricing and monetisation strategies, customer and product profitability diagnostics, sales excellence, commercial performance and operating model management. You will work with senior clients within Chief Commercial Office (CCO)/ Chief Finance Office (CFO)/ Head of Sales and across our industry sectors, Financial Services, Products & Services, Energy & Resources, Pharmaceuticals & Life Sciences. <h3>What you will be doing</h3> <ul> <li data-charcodes="8226" data-font="Arial,Sans-Serif" data-buautonum="8" data-margin="270" data-aria-posinset="1" data-aria-level="1">Lead commercial, pricing and sales programmes end-to-end: from diagnosing price realisation, revenue leakage and customer and product profitability, through designing commercial strategies and policies, to mobilising and delivering implementation of initiatives to drive top line growth</li> <li data-charcodes="8226" data-font="Arial,Sans-Serif" data-buautonum="8" data-margin="270" data-aria-posinset="2" data-aria-level="1">Shape revenue growth and monetisation strategies tailored to each client's needs, working closely with CFOs, CCOs, Head of Sales and other senior stakeholders</li> <li data-charcodes="8226" data-font="Arial,Sans-Serif" data-buautonum="8" data-margin="270" data-aria-posinset="3" data-aria-level="1">Help clients set meaningful commercial KPIs and targets, and put in place the performance management to achieve them</li> <li data-charcodes="8226" data-font="Arial,Sans-Serif" data-buautonum="8" data-margin="270" data-aria-posinset="4" data-aria-level="1">Leverage AI and innovation to design and deliver commercial profitability outcomes for clients</li> <li data-charcodes="8226" data-font="Arial,Sans-Serif" data-buautonum="8" data-margin="270" data-aria-posinset="5" data-aria-level="1">Lead multi-disciplinary teams, bringing together expertise from across Baringa</li> <li data-charcodes="8226" data-font="Arial,Sans-Serif" data-buautonum="8" data-margin="270" data-aria-posinset="6" data-aria-level="1">Coach and develop team members, helping them grow their skills and careers</li> <li data-charcodes="8226" data-font="Arial,Sans-Serif" data-buautonum="8" data-margin="270" data-aria-posinset="7" data-aria-level="1">Build long-term client relationships, shape proposals and contribute to business development</li> <li data-charcodes="8226" data-font="Arial,Sans-Serif" data-buautonum="8" data-margin="270" data-aria-posinset="8" data-aria-level="1">Help build the EVC Pricing, Revenue Growth and Commercial Excellence practice and its reputation in the market, including proposition development, go-to-market, recruitment and capability development</li> </ul> <h3>Your skills and experience  </h3> We are looking for an experienced leader with typically 7+ years of relevant experience who enjoys building stakeholder relationships, developing teams and delivering lasting results for clients. <ul> <li data-charcodes="8226" data-font="Arial,Sans-Serif" data-buautonum="8" data-margin="270" data-aria-posinset="1" data-aria-level="1">University degree in Economics, Econometrics, Business, Finance, Accounting or a related field; Master's degree is a plus</li> <li data-charcodes="8226" data-font="Arial,Sans-Serif" data-buautonum="8" data-margin="270" data-aria-posinset="2" data-aria-level="1">Significant experience in a strategy firm, Big 4 or similar advisory firm, investment banking or M&A advisory</li> <li data-charcodes="8226" data-font="Arial,Sans-Serif" data-buautonum="8" data-margin="270" data-aria-posinset="3" data-aria-level="1">A track record of leading programmes in pricing strategy, monetisation, revenue growth management, commercial and sales excellence or commercial due diligence</li> <li data-charcodes="8226" data-font="Arial,Sans-Serif" data-buautonum="8" data-margin="270" data-aria-posinset="4" data-aria-level="1">Experience across the client lifecycle: from commercial diagnostics and benchmarking, to designing pricing and commercial initiatives, to mobilising implementation</li> <li data-charcodes="8226" data-font="Arial,Sans-Serif" data-buautonum="8" data-margin="270" data-aria-posinset="5" data-aria-level="1">Experience in business development and in delivering work in at least one of Baringa's industry sectors, and/or with private equity</li> <li data-charcodes="8226" data-font="Arial,Sans-Serif" data-buautonum="8" data-margin="270" data-aria-posinset="6" data-aria-level="1">Strong senior stakeholder relationship, communication and presentation skills</li> <li data-charcodes="8226" data-font="Arial,Sans-Serif" data-buautonum="8" data-margin="270" data-aria-posinset="7" data-aria-level="1">Experience coaching teams and delivering training to colleagues and clients</li> <li data-charcodes="8226" data-font="Arial,Sans-Serif" data-buautonum="8" data-margin="270" data-aria-posinset="8" data-aria-level="1">Ability to travel internationally for up to 30% of the time, and to travel and work within the EU/UK </li> </ul> Nice to have: <ul> <li data-charcodes="8226" data-font="Arial,Sans-Serif" data-buautonum="8" data-margin="270" data-aria-posinset="9" data-aria-level="1">ACCA, CIMA or CFA qualification</li> <li data-charcodes="8226" data-font="Arial,Sans-Serif" data-buautonum="8" data-margin="270" data-aria-posinset="10" data-aria-level="1">Experience of private equity portfolio value creation</li> <li data-charcodes="8226" data-font="Arial,Sans-Serif" data-buautonum="8" data-margin="270" data-aria-posinset="11" data-aria-level="1">Experience with commercial analytics such as price waterfall, price-volume-mix or promotion effectiveness</li> <li data-charcodes="8226" data-font="Arial,Sans-Serif" data-buautonum="8" data-margin="270" data-aria-posinset="12" data-aria-level="1">Experience in leveraging analytics tools such as PowerBI or Tableau</li> </ul> We know that strong candidates do not always meet every requirement.
